I can absolutely believe that they owe it; I don't believe that the government will ever be successful in getting it.

The rich (including corporations) are different, particularly when it comes to taxation.

I'll cheer for the government, thanks. I resent (and have long resented) paying way more in taxes as a percentage of my income than corporations (and the very, very wealthy) have ever paid of theirs (both during the early stages of my life when the tax rates were far higher for higher income than they are now, and particularly during the later stages where they're not).

But cheering ain't gonna transfer cash, that's for sure!
