I am trying MacDrive 7 and I am really impressed. I have a customer that had an internal IDE drive from a MAC that he needed his files put on an external USB MAC drive. Of course Windows XP would not read the discs. I tried Fedora Core 10 first, and it would mount the discs, but I was unable to change the file permissions to move them.
Then I ran across MacDrive 7 which allowed me to mount the drives and just transfer the files with ease. I am on a 5 day trial, and it is working like clock-work. $50 seems like a bargain for this utility. I was also able to open files from the drive with no issues.
