Is the new Microsoft edge browser really as bad as I am hearing it is?

Too many problems with Edge.

I've got a customer, using O365, with a Sharepoint website.

.......Doesn't load with edge, just get a spinning cursor.

Chrome ?
Loads no problem.

Also another customer with educational software (yes, honestly) with a page that loads from a local host address.

Again.
Edge fails.
Chrome, Firefox. No problem.

This. For the most part, I am a fan of the "build" system that Microsoft is doing with Windows 10, But stop F'ing with my file associations!

Well I don't personally use it much but based on what I have seen and tests I have read about I know that its not a CPU hog. According to multiple tests edge uses the least amount of battery power on laptops than any other browser so it can't be a CPU hog. I have also had clients have much better performance on flash based cam broadcast sites using Edge than on chrome.
