Desktop search

How many of you folks prefer to install any desktop search???

However, i donot prefer installing any desktop search.. One of the reasons is that it follows the procedure of Indexing, which would occupy more memory space in the hard disk, leading slow applications.

I dont have any desktop search installed for the same reasons. Although I probably should have something as I have never deleted anything (i have files with timestamps created in 1995 on my PC). The whole Google desktop exploit where hackers can enter via Google desktop and view your files kinda turned me off.
