I had an email from an unknown person just recently that was almost word-for-word to this, but was lead with "I really need your help." instead of "My real issue is I need an IT professional's..."
The only other change was "Dr PC" instead of "Geek Squad."

I didnt respond and deleted the message.

Interesting. I said in that thread that I thought it was some kind of phishing scheme.

@Kitten Kong does the forum software record the IP? It would be interesting to know what it was. I did google the nom de plume used and there were zero hits on it.

What was the IP please? I'd like to share it with my fellow Admins at my home site, Sysnative.com. We are currently watching a series of IP's that we have been getting hit from frequently.
