I know I wont be seeing one of these in person around here.

Corsair, a company most well known for its PC parts, released its first complete gaming computer today, called the Corsair One. There are four models available: the Corsair One, Corsair One Pro, the Corsair One Pro (webstore only), and the Corsair One Ti (also a webstore exclusive).

The models primarily differ by their storage and GPU. For instance, here are the specs on the midrange Corsair One Pro:

  • Intel i7-7700K CPU
  • Nvidia GTX 1080 GPU
  • 16GB 2400MHz DDR4 DRAM
  • 480GB SSD, 2TB HDD
  • Z270 Motherboard
  • $2,199.99
On the other end, here are the details on the most expensive model, the Corsair One Ti:

  • Intel i7-7700K CPU
  • Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti GPU
  • 16GB 2400MHz DDR4
  • 960GB SSD
  • Z270 Motherboard
  • $2,599.99
Corsair’s marketing message focuses on how quiet its PC is. It mostly relies on a custom water cooling setup for both the graphics card and CPU to minimize noise and avoid overheating. We’re going to review the PC, at which point we’ll determine how well the company’s promise of silence holds up, but from what we’ve experienced so far, it’s sticking true to its word.
