Ordinary consumer grade HP laptop, Win 10 home, regular client upgraded with Samsung SSD about 6 months ago. Calls and says system won't boot. Picked it up, ran diagnostics and all passes. Boots to the "choose your keyboard layout" screen. All data there, backed it up with FABS, pretty sure I will be doing a clean install but giving you guys a shot to see if more brains can get the current installation going again.

No system restore points, can't roll back to previous version of Windows 10. Startup repair can't fix problem, points me to SRT trail log. SRT Trail reports root cause found: boot manager is corrupt.

Booted off a Windows 10 usb to command prompt and ran all the bootrec commands (fixmbr, fixboot, scanos, rebuildbcd) and no joy.

Any other suggestions before I refresh or N&P? Thanks!
