We had a HUGE rain storm here in sudbury, since we don't have this kind of rain here in the nickle capital of the world it flooded roads fire dept had to be called out to rescue stranded motorists.
Hundreds of basements flooded, hundreds of computers hit by power serges from lighting blowing power supplies and pc's now i have so much work to do ill be busy till xmas lol, that's what happens when you branch out into insurance claims on pc's and home electronics. We have contracts with quite a few fire/flood restoration companies i will be up to my eyeballs in work for months. |

Wonder if we could invoke the spirits for certain areas????
Just kidding. Maybe the HAARP can do it. Anyway, if life was not lost, then off you go and be happy (and bussy). |

There was so much flooding i have never seen anything like this, there has never been this much rain ever in history.
Car dealerships were under water, just above the hoods in your average car phone is ringing off the hook, there is so much work we have to do on site inspections too many items to move. I estimate maybe 300 computer replacements they all were in dirty water. According to reports the drain systems in city a plugged with sand from roads city did not keep system maintained. |

I have been trying to find out exactly what "insurance work" covers.
Something happens to a computer (such as flooding). The computer is covered under homeowners/business insurance. They claim it to their insurance company. Insurance company contacts you and...? Are you determining cost of replacing systems? Are you doing the replacement? You talk about other electronics. Are you repairing those for the insurance company, and then is the insurance company in turn giving it back to the homeowner/business? If so, what kind of liability do you incur? What kind of prices do you earn for these types of things? Are you billing your normal rate or a reduced rate due to your contract with them? Sorry for all of the questions, just trying to get as much info as possible.
