Hi, just wondering if my computer could get infected by letting someone connect to my access point at home if their computer had infections. I let my grandson connect to my network with his laptop the other day and was just wondering.

It could potentially happen but your more prone to infections just connecting your computer to the internet than getting something from his computer through the network.

It's certainly more likely for you to get a worm or virus from an infected machine on your own network then from the internet since your router won't be blocking traffic from other machines on the network.
