Default C drive will not open

Hi,

Thanks in advance for your input... when I click on Start>>>My Computer and try to open my C drive, I get a gray box message telling me that this file shown below cannot be found and that it is needed to open the drive...

RECYCLER FILE S-1-7-32-100011765-100028851-1000002

By the way, I can right click and "Explore" to get to the drive... but this is a new problem and puzzling me....

Thanks for your help...

Is there an autorun at the root of your drive? If so, delete it and restart.

Trojans are what will cause this. Run a good anti virus scan. You might consider downloading and running the free malwarebytes. Also run chkdsk on c drive.

Trojan, have a customer with 2 PC's with this on. Has also changed the start menu, dissabled firewall and a few other things. It spreads like the plague, so don't get using any USB sticks/networks etc.
