ah yes, hmm this this is very odd indeed!!

Are there any references to the missing folder in the registry? search for c:\documents and settings\username in regedit

Possibly some one changed the My Documents folder to point to a location other then Documents and Settings\User\My Documents, and the repair set it back to default. Do a search for My Pictures, My Music, *.jpg, or *.doc.

I assumed he reinstalled the apps.
