For MSN and AIM, and also many other things such as my download manager and torrent programs, how can I make it so that I can use AVG to scan my files? Ever since i deleted Norton, i haven't been able to scan my files when they finish transferring or whatnot. >_>
Anybody know how? D: |

In MSN, goto:
Tools > Options > File Transfer Tick "Scan Files for viruses using:" and press Browse Find where you installed AVG (Program files/Grisoft/AVG I think is the default location) And choose either: DOS Based: C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG Free\avgscan.exe Win Based: C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG Free\avgw.exe" /SE %1

Hey Bryce, when it scans, a window pops up giving me scan results, is there anyway to stop this? o-O Like its not exactly a problem, just slighly annoying sometimes.

I dont know how to stop it. It gives you the scan results because you wanted to know if the file you were just sent had a virus... Its telling you the answer :P
