Website Ads

I'm close to putting my revamped site up, what I want to do is now look at filling the whitespace with external ads that may bring in some referral revenue.

Anyone got any good ideas on how to start this off?

I'm talking to local business but thinking more afield but I'm careful not to let ads overtake MY stuff

I would not put any ads at all on a professional business site.
I think it looks really bad!

You might be right, just an idea I was toying with over whitespace.

Imight just do a page for local/other PC business out my area

Really? I would think that having affiliate links would be ok for products i endorse (in my case eset).

I was thinking of ad space in general just as a residual revenue I'll be putting up my referral links def
