Hello,
I have a customer who would like to add a MacBook to her collection of computers she has. It would be for Graphic Design work. I don't know much about Macs, but told her I would check some things for her. Does anybody know a reputable place where she (an end user), could purchase one. She is looking for new and in the U.S. I don't know what specs, but would like info on sites in general, that she can check out what would fit her needs. She has already checked out the "google sites", but wanted to know if I new of anybody. Any help appreciated.

I'm no mac head, but wouldn't a desktop be more suited for graphic design work?

Go to Google, search for refurbished mac. Find the one that is from apple. You will save a few hundred dollars. They have a great warranty and they are tested harder than then new ones that roll off the line. I have purchased 3 for 4 macs from there and they are great. You can’t tell the difference from a new one. The only give away is that you don’t get the pretty apple box. I would never buy new; Apple has hefty standards for refurbs. Good luck!
