Have you guys seen this before?
I have, but can't remember the solution, or what caused it. |

OK, this is even weirder - I'm working on my brother's computer, and not only does he get a shortcut when double-clicking the IE desktop icon, but when I click Windows Update from the Tools Tab (IE6), it opens Mozilla Firefox, which then goes to the Windows Update site. Of course, since Firefox does not work with that site, we get the usual error messages. I was just going to upgrade to IE7. Has anyone seen this before? Is this caused by the same things that cause the shortcut to be created?
Thanks, Sky |
