I have Goggled this problem for hours and found no answers. I have a Motorola SBG941 wireless cable Modem. Charter is the INSP. I have no connection problems with cabled connections or the wireless guest account but the WPA-PSK secured account shows Internet access till you try to load a web site, then it always times out with DNS failures. I have reset the modem several times, changed the adapter cards DNS to google and also open DNS. I've even changed the non guest account to no security. Same outcome no matter what I've done. Does anyone know what the problem may be?

Have you logged onto the modem and see why it fails in its event log?

Yes it listed time not established and
No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out (US 6) I've been dealing with this for a week but as of now everything is working again and the correct time has been established! I haven't done anything to correct this but suddenly it's corrected. Thanks anyhow for inquiring. |

Just for giggles...(and it's better performing and more secure anyways)...flip wireless security to WPA2 AES.
