Hi all,
I am just trying DriverForge for the first time on a laptop I have just done a fresh install on. I am running it, as far as I know correctly, but it doesn't do anything to the missing drivers? What am I doing wrong...? Thanks, Aaron

Aaron,
I found it hits about 80% - not bad. I run it from a USB key and I generally have to revise the pointer to the uncompressed files, as the drive letter has changed. Otherwise, it's a nice start and usually, at least, puts the driver in for the LAN card and I can proceed. I hope this is of some help. Steve |

I have it on a USB drive as well, it completes its tasks but none of the drivers are installed. Aaron

Azz,
Just going over the things I did: Downloaded all of the Driverpacks Extracted them to a separate directory on the USB I think there are other ways, but this is what I did. Hope this is some help. Steve PS FWIW I don't pay for online services very often, but I've found driveragent really worth the money to complete the job. The new edriver ID software works very well. |
