A+ Certification

Hi All,

Just wanted to say, as a Noob/Newb (sp?), I wrote for my A+ today and I got an 874 and 859. So I am officially certified now. yaaaayyy me.

I know that its just a start, but its a big deal for me. I can put it on my advertising and such so I am very happy to have it.

I am thinking that I will do the Network+ first. I say this because I am starting my own business, and want to eventually market myself to the small business owner. I feel that the Net+ offers more than Security+ for that path. Or do I have it backwards?

I think they would both serve you well. Not that they are required by any means, but more knowledge is never a bad thing.

Congrats! I know the feeling. I just got my A+ certification back in August. I am sitting for the Net + in January.

I agree about Net+ first. I also feel more confident with it than Sec+....
