Default Crashplan unable to connect to engine

If Crash plan displays this message 'Unable to connect to the backup engine, retry?'

Open services.msc in Windows go to Crashplan and Start the service.

Yup, I just went to services and started/restarted Crashplan and I was backup again.

I have had this problem for so long off and on as well as 4 other peoples computers I know where crashplan won't connect to the backup engine for days and then all of a sudden it starts working again.

All users are Windows 7 64bit.
