A customer asked me to setup a new email profile on a desktop, I create the mailbox but then realise that his existing outlook is a mess with lots of legacy accounts which he still needs to keep.
I thought the best solution was to make a new outlook profile and allow him to choose which one he wants to use when he logs in. However it needed the corporate install to do this. I go into outlook and change this, but then it asks me to insert the CD which I do not have nor does my client. Now I am trying to get him to upgrade but if I don't succeed any way of rolling back outlook to change it to an "internet only" version without using outlook itself as it no longer works? The rest of office still works, it just outlook. Thanks. |

You could do a system restore before you made the changes
this should set it back the way it was If you get a newer version of Office it should upgrade and remove old it has done this for me in the past |

Already done the system restore didn't work. Any client has said to buy a new copy of outlook if there is no way round it
