Back in the day before I did everything by the book I has a windows xp tiny disk... I loved it because it had MOST drivers for the PCs that I would work on and it had several programs that you could silently install...
Now adays I only use 100% legal software, does anyone know of a tool or know how to create a windows disk that will incorperate drivers and programs such as adobe reader, flash, Java, perhaps even office 2007 but not activate it... I would love to know about any tools that you all use. Thanks Brandon. |

People use slipstream methods to get drivers onto an install disc. As for the programs, because they constantly get updated, I just use www.ninite.com to easily install the latest versions of the programs you mentioned.

+1 on both methods. You could slipstream the drivers and install the programs with nlite (XP), Vlite (vista).
But that would mean having to make a new disc each time there was a upgrade of a program. Alternatively, you could still use nlite, to slipstream all drivers, service packs etc. Then use ninite.com for all your auto installs. This way it ensures that you have the latest of all the programs you require.

I am going to give the ninite.com tool a try... it looks very promising. What I was wanting to do is somehow install the main tools automaticly but it doesnt look like there is a way to do that yet.

Ketarin is pretty easy to set up, especially if you're using apps that can be found on FileHippo. You can set it to download from FH and, once downloaded, run the file. Rinse, repeat for all your standard apps. It's also free.
