I dont think that would be the cause Netman, though its possible. If that was the case it would fall into a nasty spiral. People pirate, put price up, price is too expensive, more people pirate, price goes up etc..

Id say that it is more that $1200 is poo change to most companies. Most webdevelopers can make that money back with 1 website. Unfortunantly for the hobbists its a bit much.

I agree, if the price was lower i think more people would buy the software. Its a rip off when a new Photoshop comes out in june for $799 us. then in october its $199. Itsthis type of thing that can make a pirate out of anyone.
