HP Touch Pad .com button on pc keyboard?

Hey all, hope everyone is doing well.

This past week my son got a new HP TouchPad, loves it. Anyway, when you are going to a website the keyboard has a ".com" button. Very cool! Is there a way to turn one of the alt or ctrl buttons on a pc to a .com button?

I think that would be cool.

i recall that there is a feature in browsers using which you write only the name like e.g google.com.......you write only google...and press "ctrl+enter" and it attaches the .com itself............
