I have used it on most of my PC's for a few years now and like it but I am always open for new ideas. Is there another that might even be better? Any ideas or opinions are appreciated.
Thanks! |

There are 23 other threads that discuss it so it looks like a Yes.

Such useful comments...
As I have stated now on at least 6 posts, when I try and search anything on this forum it takes me directly to New Posts. I have sent a message to TN. So...can anyone tell me how they like it? Have they compared it to others? Constructive input appreciated. |

I've been meaning to try Secunia PSI for ages but I keep forgetting
Maybe because I'm very content with Filehippo.com's UpdateChecker. Very basic and simple yet very effective. Have it run every now and then via Task Scheduler and voilá. It doesn't actually perform the updates (does Secunia?) but it does lead to the download locations on Filehippo.com. Note to self: check out Secunia PSI tomorrow!

Secunia PSI does the updates for you. So far I have been very pleased.

Note to self: remember previous note to self! ![]() I just remembered that CNET has something similar as well but the specifics have slipped my mind. Don't think that does the updates itself either :/
