Unfortunately I had Spyware Quake on my own computer, and did not come across this article before I removed it. However I did find the manually remove instructions on this website helpful: http://www.anti-spyware-101.com/remove-spywarequake/

If anybody is stuck with this parasite on their computer, don't hesitate to contact me, I got it off my system and would be glad to try to help.

Default spyfalcon

Hi I've been trying to follow the instructions to remove spyfalcon but when i get to the bit that says to rightclick over the spyfalcon_removal.reg and download SmitRemFix.exe it takes me to a page not found window.I'm not even sure if this is all my problem as i keep getting a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it. also I am not very godd with technical stuff so I need any help in novice speak.Thankyou

My apologies, that was my fault. We recently did some major changes to this website and it seems the download links got broken. Its been fixed now and those links now work. Sorry again.

Default spyfalcon

Hi Thankyou for that. I carried out your instructions but spyfalcon wasn't listed but i ran the smitfraud anyway (not sure if I should have done) Do I leave the roguescanfix, spyfalcon and the smitfraud on my computer or remove them? I also have another problem. The CPU is running very high and when i try to end the unwanted process's they keep coming back???.Can you help?

When you click the popup, what site does it take you to?

Seems to be a new variant of the Myzor infection. However I really need to sleep right now. Give me about 12 - 16 hours and I will have a way to remove it for you.

Goto Start > Control Panel and choose "Add/Remove Programs". This will bring up a list of the programs you have installed. Is "MalwareWipe" in the list?
