Samsung Q30 plus - how to upgrade RAM?

Got one of these with 768MB DDR2 RAM, want to replace the 256MB with a 1GB unit. However the RAM slot appears to be under the keyboard.

I've seen two different guides. This one suggests I remove screws from the base and then rest up the keyboard, another one suggests I remove the hinges and unscrew the keyboard that way. Which is correct?
