Reception Desk/Counter

Hey everyone I am looking for idea for a Reception Desk/Counter. Did anyone build your own or make one using items from Ikea, Home Depot, etc?

Thanks for the links, I realized what I am looking to build/buy for is an L shaped service counter, not a reception desk. I think building two of the ones in the first link and making them look nice could work. I may make the counter top overlap in the back so I can sit on a stool while doing equipment intake.

We built our own like the first post. For benches and for front check in. Personally, I used nice plywood for the table top. We cut it in half so we could two benches out of each. 2foot deep is plenty for both applications. Out front we used thin luan all around the front to mak it look nice.

We just got a standard reception desk from the local store and had it modified with our graphics / logo on it.

That is perfect, I can't seem to find anything like that around. Is it available online? How about the graphics a local company also?
