I need your help
Hello please accept my greeting
their is this computer that, if I play video it does not play smootly and the audio output will be cracking, but if I minimize the the window the audio play smootly, I am planing to buy memory card for it. will the memory card solve the problem? if yes, which one do you recommend. if know what next. the computer is petium III thanks Last edited by yajfa; 05-30-2008 at 03:53 PM. Well a memory upgrade might help. But a driver and codec upgrade might also help. I don't have enough posts to post links yet, but search for K-Lite Codec Pack 3.90 and download it from FileHippo.
Try downloading and installing that codec pack first to see if that fixes the problem. Make sure you restart your computer after installing the codec. Also, if your computer is a Pentium III, it is quite old and you might want to go for a new computer. The Acer Veriton VM410-UD4200P from Newegg is a good one. It only costs $429.99 and has good hardware as well as Windows XP Professional. Good luck to you.

If we could have more detailed specs and also what resolution your screen is set to and the video's resolution. If you are trying to play an HD file at full specs then your system would explode as even new machines can have trouble with HD files. Point being that the video quality and the output quality settings of your screen and video adapter are a factor.

Try reinstall the mainboard chipset driver and reboot PC to take effect.
Then reinstall the VGA and audio driver as well as all the other device drivers is available. Hope this helps! Bill
