It's not bad, but I'm wondering what rocks and swirly things have to do with computer repair?

I go to how to create a simple batch file and it shows me how to boot into safe mode.

It's just apart of the design which I downloaded, I am going to remove the image of the rock and eventually replace it with the same sort of faded effect with a computer related image, which means messing around in Gimp.

Yeah I know Im in the process right now of writing and uploading them pages, I just did that as filler content.

Im not sure how this fits as 'advertising critique' as the site does not seem to advertise anything.

I have my doubts about the project in general. There are squillions of 'how to' computer sites on the net. Personally I dont see the point in adding another one, particularly with the time/cost involved in getting it to rank for any significant keyword searches.

It looks like you have plans for PPC, in which case I think your query would be better suited to posting on a Forum about this particular type of site. PPC is a bit of an art unto itself.

Closed immediately once I saw the sidebox ad. I know a lot of people make money from Adsense and box ads, I personally don't like them.

If you're going after that model you should make the ad blend better with the page.

Agree with above, ads- especially those with flash content that have nothing to do with the website @ all are annoying and offputting. A developer can get their website out there with other known SEO methods, and not have to use these 'innappropriate' advertising. That said it is based on a CSS co0ntainer template with not much thought put into the layout/design and colour scheme really in the end anyway.

It needs more of a computer image. At first glance it looks like a local events website or something. You need something what when someone glances at it they can tell it's about computer with out reading a word.

I am going to utilize the area between the search bar and Logo for that , but now deciding whether to use one the open sides.

I have removed the two sides ads to make it less intrusive.
