I like #2 although I do think a logo should imply what u do. For instance u can be any kind of tech so under it I would put computer services. Lol I just love the design of the "t".

Yea my partner and I have been going back on forth on that. My position is that a dude holding a laptop etc is not needed because every place that will contain the logo from business cards to webpages will say something about computers, and there will be no mistaking we repair computers. His position is that it should be infused into as many things as possible, so that they can stand alone. When I see a giant yellow M I think crappy burgers, but there is nothing in the M to suggest that. The question is whether the same logic from companies that are already famous and spend millions on marketing apply to lil' ole us.
