I haven't setup a POS for a coffee shop/restaurant, but I did "play around" with a coffee shop/restaurant POS, Have a look at Plexis POS, its mainly for this type of business, and it has a touch screen.

focuz is on a distinguished road

The hardware should all just plug in and come with drivers for you. The only hard part is setting up the software. depending on how big there selection it can take quite awhile. There wont really be a single person that could help you with this as with my experience every POS software program is written in completely different ways. So its better to just find out the program there using and lookup the manual.
