Has anyone tried out OpenERP? It's an open source CRM solution. Looks like it has a ton of add on modules as well. I have never used any CRM before, so I don't know how this compares to others. If anyone could take a look who has more experience with CRMs, and let me know what you think of it I would appreciate it.

Here is another one called Request Tracker (RT). This looks promising as a trouble ticket manager along with a lot of other CRM type features.
http://bestpractical.com/rt/ Again, could someone check this out and let me know how it compares to others? It must be somewhat okay.... NASA uses it.

OpenERP is more of an ERP solution than a CRM application. Its not fair for me to give a comparison. There are more than 500 modules installable. You can find the comparison at http://www.evaluationmatrix.com/comparison

Have a look at vtiger, it's an Open Source CRM multi-platform solution, I use it for my business and it works great. As rahulnair as said above OpenERP is an Enterprise Resource Planning system and is not best suited to a small business, CRM is your best option.
