I am trying to copy my daughters DVD movies to Hard Drive so I can stream them to our laptop. I am looking for good free programs that will allow me to copy them and then watch them with media player. Any ideas?

Handbrake: http://handbrake.fr/
Its an open source DVD to MP4 converter. This way, you can have single 700mb movie files on your computer instead of multiple, 4.5gig DVD files.
