I have a laptop that will not login after it locks itself and goes to sleep. When it wakes it will not accept the password. I have to log the user off and then log in and everything is fine. Any ideas?

I think there's a setting in Control Panel so the pc won't ask for a password on awakening from sleep. What I'd do is remove the password and reapply if the customer wants, as it sounds as if some form of corruption

How is it "not accepting" the password? Can you not type it is or is it not asking or is it claiming the password is wrong or what?

it might be either Caps Lock - which I would hope you checked!
or the number pad lock which some laptops have on the right hand side letter keys which you can access by holding down Fn (sorry it's early and I'm not explaining too well!) |

The password is right and I know it for a fact. I have to click on "switch user" and then it lets me login. This happens when the computer goes to sleep and locks.
