Default Printer Name Already Exists

You all know what I'm talking bout. (After removing the printer from Devices and Printers and then reinstalling the printer and trying to give it the same name as before)

I know I could just change the printer name, but I like to keep things organized. I checked online for 30 minutes but thought this would be the fastest way to get an answer.

The same thing happens when deleting a wireless network from the prefered list. After recconnecting a number is added behind the wireless network name For example "MYWIRELESS 2"

Go to Printers and Faxes, File, Server Properties, look under Ports, I think. Delete the name from there. Try to reinstall.

Let me know if it worked!
