This site is still very much a work in progress. I知 struggling with the about page I知 still trying to write something that is suitable and puts our company across well.
Also I知 debating whether listing prices is the best policy or not? The website itself is a CSS template which I have modified to my needs. In the code I have kept this apparent as credit where credit is due. Personally though I think the website fails to put across any sort of branding with the lack of logo etc, so for now I知 using this as the foundation. Any thoughts, comments or suggestions please feel free to post. computergenieuk.com |

i would be more worried about lack of content than branding at the moment.
Site pretty clean although sits a bit low on the page for me. Personally i would reduce size of the header but wouldnt need to be reduced by much if you get content sorted out and plenty of space in the header to sort out your branding.... first priority would be getting content on that homepage, as no matter what clients like to see abit more than lists. Also the off colour black doesnt sit well with my eye sight because of the size and font you have used. The rest of site can be built upon slowly as you write it. |

Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for, all valid points for me to act upon. The site should be changing a lot over the next coming days.

Nice looking site
I'd get a landline number is you can, especially one with a local STD code I don't list prices on my site, I'm quite expensive and would prefer people to ask me on the phone so I can talk 'em round to the quality or work that I do. I think the header is a little too tall, I'd make it about 2/3 size Perhaps we should have a "suggestions for a good tech support website" thread - if there's not already |

About Us page - have a look at mine if you want some ideas
It's always a good idea to see what your competitors are doing and Google for other tech support web sites to see what the better quality one are doing There are some really crap looking tech support websites about though, especially round my way!!! |

Thanks Kev, your site has given me some ideas on getting through the about page. I also like the idea of just having one page listing a selection of services.
Landline is a problem, being 20 years old and still living and operating from home I like to try and keep business as separate as possible, until I can afford a small unit I知 stuck with that problem. Unless I can get another line at my house address?
