Yeah we got that 'UltimateSteal' deal here in New Zealand as well.
At course they have only advertised the Office 2K7 Suite for $80 NZL. ( off the top of my head, its roughly the same price as your $60 ) Didn't know about the Win7 Pro for '$29.99' though. This is to all all beloved students here on TechNibble.. Do your institutes offer the Microsoft E-Learning or Microsoft E-Academy ? Pretty much free software for Students. 'Cept that you don't get to keep the original discs that they send to you. They have to be returned to your institute within 5 days. Or else its a $20 fee per day that its late. And I can't remember the price if you lose/break the media. All you have to do is sign up on their website, and they will issue your key.

we sort of get same deal here in the uk aswell.
office price works out the same. But suprise suprise we get ripped off in the OS currency convertion as its just a straight £1=$1 convertion (then again can you class £30 for a £200 OS as being ripped off). But then again i suppose they have to make that large fine the EU gave them back somehow. |

Just a note this should go into the deals section not the buy sale trade. I may be doing this I wouldn't mind picking up Win7.

As a student I received (and installed) a copy of Windows7 Professional a few days ago. I am also eligible to get the discount for Windows7 Ultimate so I was wondering if it was worth to pay to get the Ultimate version. I found out that a regular customer ends up paying a difference of $100.00 to have:
-A system with multiple languages -Data Protection with Bitlocker -Virtual PC -Connect to company networks easily and more securely with Domain Join Are they serious? In other words, pay the lowest and receive a crappy system with less features, pay double and receive the same crappy system but with more awesome features like more languages, virtual PC, and other stuff that should be already be installed by default. Way to go Microsoft!! Keep going (and soon other OS will take place)
