Default Voleroy !

An easy way to download and install apps off the web. Check it out, very interesting. At the moment its in Private BETA; and I think you can sign up for it through HowToGeek . There is a link on the front page.

http://getvolery.com/

* EDIT *

It takes you through to a questionaiire page, where you have to give answers ( thoughtful ones get priority it seems ) . And they will get back to you with a password to test this Private BETA .

Thats what I thought. Even though it was in Private BETA, i thought I'd let all my friends on TN know about it . Just another alternative to installing these applications lol .

If its only in BETA now, I can't wait to see what it will be like when its fully released to the public ( hopefully its free as well, i can't see them bein' able to charge for such a service, i dunno )

I would prefer to add these into the Tech Tookit 2.0 tho ( if AtYourService is listening ) but i don't know how to add hyperlinks that change all the time . I haven't figured that one out yet lol

The question of price they ask makes me assume it will be somehow a paid service at some point.

One of the questions...

If Volery cost money, what would be a fair price to charge?

"Yearly Subscription Fee : $0.99"

Thats fair right ?

I could always spend a day writing a batch script which would do exactly what Volery does ( if all the programs support command line )

Batch script? It's really not all that hard to double click an installer

>.> Batch scripts can auto-install though, right? If so then yeah i can see how that'd be awesome.

$0.99 Lifetime license works even better.

And on the other, you seem to have just hired yourself to write this app.

He should completely finish his first big project before working on something else. A wise man once said...well, I don't have one of those, but putting too much on your plate will lead to an upset stomach

Think of me as the middleman, I'm hiring you, but I am not the one you need to speak to for compensation, kinda like a scout ya know.
