I intend to use virtual box to install for a bit of nostalgia. Im wondering if Microsoft (as some companies do ) have made this freely downloadable since its end of life? Id like to even install 95 since that was the first OS i ever used..
Look forward to your replies |

The answer is no. Microsoft has never considered its obsolete releases as abandonware. They will not make it available for download.

I have had good luck buying older software from Ebay. I make sure the seller has a good rep and buy only sealed software that includes the license key.

I have ordered software from here: http://www.trinitysoftwaredistribution.com/
They seem to have some older titles of software. I havent ordered anything other than antivirus, though, so you mileage may vary.
