Hello all having an issue I ran superantispyware on a full system scan overnight then I restarted my computer and now my screen is all distorted and the resolution is screwed everything is huge and can't see anything I tried setting my resolution and it is still messed up on all resolutions so now I can't use my cad programs and I would like to get my screen back to normal I do not understand why it did this anyone have any clues how to fix this pleas and thank you . And this is on my laptop..

Is it all screwed up in the BIOS and the boot screen ? If so then you might have had some kind of overheat problem.
If not then see if you can boot to VGA mode or try booting with ANY boot disk and see what that looks like so you take the O/S out of the equation. ps - I don't think this is superantispyware related. Last edited by NYJimbo; 07-06-2012 at 01:06 AM. |

The BIOS is fine its only in windows any ideas

What version of windows?
Did you try reinstalling the drivers? Also, check to make sure magnifier isn't enabled, and check the item percentage boost settings in the display section of the CP. |

There's a small chance it's SAS-related. OP, did you even review what was found by the scan? Do you know that it didn't identify a video driver file as infected? Can you boot into Safe Mode and review its logs?

first things that come to mind are video drivers, dpi, theme settings.
