Hello,
I have a customer that their Windows OS (Windows 7) became corrupted. I am unable to boot into Windows through safe mode, etc. They have lots of Family Tree Maker files on their hard drive that they do not want to lose. How can I back these up if I cannot boot into Windows? What files do I look for? Thanks! |

Use a linux live cd and try to acess the drive, remove the drive and plug it into another computer, etc...

The files are *.ftw, *.ftm and *.fbc file extension from memory. I used to use Family Tree Maker many years ago when storing my family data.
