Logo Design Work

Hey everyone... Since I'm starting up a business I'm looking into getting a design made for my company. Right now the company is called Petrino Computer Repair but with that name I can't think of a cool looking design to go with it.

I was thinking about changing the name possibly to Rino Computing Solutions. I do have a good design idea for that, but my question is where do you guys go to get your logos made? Also how much would a logo design run?

I don't have the resources to pay 100's of dollars for one but if that's what it takes to get a decent one I'll have to start saving up. I'm just bouncing ideas back and forth in my head and want a rough estimate.

I actually found someone on Craig's List who was willing to barter repair services for the logo...One of the best deals I have ever made. I still feel like I got the better end of it..

You could also head over to fiverr.com and throw $5 or $10 at a few people and see what sticks

That's two good ideas. Thank you bud. I'll head over to fiverr first and ask a couple people before I actually buy their service. Anyone else?

I use scriptlance.com. Designers bid on your job and most send mockups with the bid. Mine cost $35 and I had about 75 bids within 2 hours. From the time I posted to having a logo with psd and vector files was about 16 hours.

I make my own...former graphic design student. However, if I didn't make my own, I would most likely use one of the options above. Good advice.

I like the idea of 99designs.com, but at the time we were looking they were not around. We used a company called Logobee.com. I think for all new work we may give 99designs.com a try.
