I have been working in the field for 14 years. What country do you live in? U.S.A need to change the limit to 3 characters, for this box What is your current experience? (Years working on computers, in the business, certifications etc..) 2 years in-store Tech 1 year on-site tech 3 years computer store manager 4 years Network Administrator 3 years Outside Consualtant 1 year Geek Squad (ARA for 3 months, AOD for 1 month, Agent for 6 months, currently Double Agent) No certs Are you self looking to start a computer business, already have one, working for someone else or something else? Looking to start a computer bussiness Anything else you would like to share? hobbies etc.. I use to be on a "pro" gaming team years ago called Team Chenbro, and traveled the US and even went to Taiwan and played video games in our sponsors booth during Computex. That was a GREAT year.. wish I could get that gig again. |

Welcome!
What area were you a geek squad agent at? IMO, you can only learn so much there and the rest is just automation. Stick a disk in, if that doesnt fix it then remote connect to AJU and they fix it. Now that they are consolidating stores geek squad has more responsibilities such as being in charge of returns. For most people Geek Squad is just a stepping stone though. |
