Update:

brought the computer to the client house today. Ready with my phone(hotspot active), and everything else i might need, i turn on the pc boot it up and connect to their network. go to the site in IE works, firefox works, chrome no go. The client really likes chromes so want to make it work. I update chrome nothing. Unistall and reboot then reinstall nothing. i cant for the life of me get it to work. Anyways the client has me customize firefox and they are happy. So site not working before is still a mystery.

My question: this has happened with chrome before even on an old pc of mine. Like chrome just stops working and no matter what i do short of reformatting chrome wont work anymore. anyone run into this or know of a fix?

What was the solution to not connecting to the router in the first place? You seem to have skipped over the solution to that problem and gone on to the chrome issue.

Wasn't a problem with connecting to wireless ... couldn't get to a specific site.

the site was not down the first time either because i viewed it on my phone. Anyways the client was nice, but glad to be done with this job!

the only thing that didnt work was chrome but i was not a chrome issue i tryied originally across IE Chrome and firefox. didnt work in any.

Anyone else have weird happenings onsite? There isnt much i cant explain but this is a mystery.

Thanks for responding, glad it worked out, by the way what did you have them change in their router settings?

the login was default username and password. The funny thing is they had a "tech" set up the router. why they didnt change the password is beyond me.
