Default AV for SBS 2011

I am looking for suggestions on choice and configuration of AV software for Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard. Server is used for email, QuickBooks, and some file sharing.

Thanks!!

Default Great!

That is great information. So as far as choice-- I only need protection on this one server, so i don't even need multiple licenses. What is best suggestion for choice to buy?

You'll get fanboy answers there. Do you have a preferred vendor that you already work with? They most likely have a special "server" version..as well as a separate Exchange plugin (typically those are priced per mailbox..although often there is a unique SBS package).

Typically we keep the same AV vendor across the network...get a network bundle package with a centralized management system that runs from the server. Usually ends up much cheaper than a sum of individual licenses.

Default Compatibility w 2011

The website for the software I usually use doesn't mention sbs 2011 only 2008-- I am just starting out, and have not partnered with anyone. Is it typically hard to become a partner?

It's common for smaller places to have a preferred antivirus brand.
Which AV do you currently use that shows only SBS08?

Default Comodo

I use Comodo-- I found out via their forum that a new release next month will carry compatibility. For now I am just going to reinstall their old software.

Did they finally certify one for Small Business Server? I recall looking a while ago, but the only Server they were certified on was standard....nothing with Exchangle/SQL/IIS.
