No, because my trainer told me it was perfect for me and happened to be pink. (he might have focused on that aspect of it too lol) Going through classes soon to learn, then get certified, the get a license.
After the BS I went through last month, thought it was a good idea. I also like the idea of going to target practice.

I can't quite tell from the picture, but that looks like a S&W? It is very similar to my Ruger SP101 5 shot, .357 Magnum w/spurless hammer and 2.25" barrel. In my opinion, an excellent choice for concealed carry.

WI finally passed CC and I may start carrying..... not sure yet though, we have had a few thefts at the store, nothing major (largest was a 32GB micro SD card), sadly it has been when it was so busy that we couldn't see even on camera who took it (20+ people in a small-ish store). Anyways.... My brother is going into LE so he already carries a pellet gun..... he's never had to officially use it but he did show it a bit once and some VERY shifty guys quickly left (looks like a 45)

Springfield XD 45
Depending on the client, and the task at hand, I'll put it into a discreet yet easily accessible pocket in my laptop bag which never leaves my side.

That is a decent looking revolver, and I am a sucker for those... but I can't help but think... Why not something with a rear site, too? Perhaps a bit more capacity? I mean, you never know when you will be in a restaurant being herded into the freezer by two gunmen wearing ballistic armor and have to take a head shot from 20' ![]() I am sure you are getting proficient, which is really all that matters. I am also sure you know this but whatever you do with a wheel gun keep your fingers away from where the cylinder meets the barrel. There is a small gap where high pressure gasses (i.e. 40,000 Pounds Per Square Inch) leak out and it can cut a finger or thumb off. I mean you could get a sub-compact Glock, and throw some Tritium Night Sites on it too! Being a Semi-Auto it will recoil a little softer... Not to mention that 9mm is cheaper than 38 special (or .357 magnum) for practice. Oh and you don't have to remove all the brass casings... they self eject as you fire the gun, so there is less clean-up. ![]() For you I would recommend a Pink Glock 26 (Sub Compact 9mm)... Holds 10 rounds though you can get 12, 15, 17,19, or even 33 round magazines (obviously longer than the gun itself). Personally, I would could see you with something like this: ![]() Next, I would say to get it with a compensated slide and barrel (if the days are most dangerous for you)... It will help prevent muzzle flip when firing it to assist keeping you on target for follow-up shots:
