Emigration to NZ under Skilled Works scheme
Hi,
Im seriously looking at emigrating to NZ under their skilled workers scheme and was wondering if anyone here has considered the same, how far you got and if you went all the way do you have any regrets? I have around 15yrs experience (im 36) in IT in all sorts of disciplines and from what I can tell so far if you have work experience coupled with a job offer in NZ you are pretty much guaranteed an in. Although I can see how that seem a bit Chicken and Egg. So anyone in NZ need an extra pair of skilled hands?

Do they have any limits on the skills? Sometimes they can be very specific in the requirements they want.

They work on the points system similar if not the same as AuS and coupled with my background and work experience plus a job offer I score 165 points. Apparently scoring over 140 is an auto in.
I think the key is job offer as without that I'd be below the 140 Im pretty sure.
