Distributors
First of all, SUPERB forum. One of the best communities I have seen in numerous forums.
Anyway, I have been looking for suppliers to resell some of their products but companies like Ingrammicro and the likes require me to register a business. Is there any supplier/distributor that does not require this? Do advise. Thanks ( :

newegg or tiger mabye
"real" distributors want a sales tax id to make it legal for them to sell to you without charging you sales tax, they also want to know you are legit and not an end-user. newegg and tiger get away without charging sales tax for the most part because they are in another state than you are and skirt the law although in some states I think they do charge sales tax now.

Set up a DBA or Corporation (LLC or S-Corp) and apply for your Federal and State Tax ID.

After the research I think I do need to register as a business. I live in e asia pacific region, so that might pose an issue dealing with the guys overseas. Anyway thanks all. Any ideas do let me know. Thanks.
