For those who have a shop or retail store, do you guys pay any sort of commission for up-sales, computers and or service packages? I am a firm believer in doing this as it give my employees incentive to basically make me more money as well as themselves. I was just wondering if anyone else who was doing this had any pointers, advice or a commission structure they would like to share.

- 8% of the total of retail sales
- 10% of the total of Service up selling (if they came in for Virus removal and they added backup, and cloud storage they get 10% of the backup and storage) - 5% on referrals of residential - 10% on referrals of businesses |

Nothing wrong with incentive.
We have a mixture...flat salary, base salary plus 20% commish of GP (what I do myself), or 50% split for 1099 option.
