Default Windows Updates issue this week

Anybody else seeing this issue where the latest set of updates for Windows 7 never seems to take? There's eight of them I think, and I solved the problem by having it install them one at a time. Nothing else seemed to work.

Updated a few 7's this week and not a problem with any except time as some haven't been updated for awhile!

Any particular update standing out as culprit in your case?

I had an issue on a fresh reload....... on reboot it stuck at "preparing to install updates" for like an hour or more, finally I just power cycled it and the next time it worked *shrug*

There was an initial issue with KB2647753. You should be able to update all but this one in one swoop, then remove the existing KB2647753 and install from direct download.

I have no problem. I updated a few machines and experienced no problems.

Same here, although it seemed to take longer than usual to download and install.

Had a customer with a Win 7 Ult x64 which was attempting to install 8 updates each day since 8/15. KB2647753 was in that list. Ended up doing the updates one-at-a-time and they finally installed OK. Wish I had seen the advisory about KB2647753 and would have then done all but it, then it by itself.

Have a bunch of other Win 7 machines in the office do those updates with no problem. Go figure ...

I've had no issues with win 7 but most of mine are using WSUS. I've had an issue with exchange on one server
